Avignon et le Comtat-Venaissin
André Hallays's 1921 guide to Avignon and the Comtat-Venaissin, issued in Paris by Henri Laurens for French travellers and readers of regional art topography. Halftone photographs, credited to Neurdein, Bardougne and the Monuments Historiques, show cathedral interiors, Romanesque and Gothic church facades, market stalls and stepped squares in soft grey tones usable as architectural reference and textured backgrounds.
