1929 · 7 pictures

Air Wonder Stories was a science fiction pulp magazine edited by Hugo Gernsback and published monthly from New York in 1929 for readers of aviation and future-flight adventure fiction. The interiors are black-and-white pen-and-ink story headers combining hand-lettered display titles with airships, ray-struck hulls, biplanes and helicopters over battleships, harbours and cityscapes, offering designers lettering, hatched cloud and water textures, and vehicle silhouettes.
