In my airy aeroplane : duet
A piano-vocal duet published in 1911 by Blair and Patterson of Columbia, Missouri, with words by Girard Blair, sold as sheet music to amateur singers during the early aviation craze. The plates are engraved music pages: staves, beamed notes, dynamic marks, bracketed repeat endings, and hyphenated lyric lines under the vocal part, with a small plate-number and printer line at the foot, useful as period music-notation texture.
