A 1739 London biography of the royal physician Edmund Dickinson by William Nicolas Blomberg, issued with Dickinson's own Latin treatise on the Grecian games for antiquarian and medical readers. The plates are copper engravings in rococo taste: a reclining sphinx framed by scrollwork cartouches, lidded urns, and a harbour view behind, plus blank laid-paper leaves usable as aged backgrounds.
