An 1901 Paris study of Malagasy medical practices and beliefs by Gershon Ramisiray, issued by A. Maloine for physicians and folklorists reading French ethnographic medicine. The single plate is a coarse-grained halftone photograph, framed in a plain rule, showing a figure in striped dress among guyed canvas tents with a barrel and folding stool: useful for grain texture, tent geometry, and field-camp staging.
