A Latin medical dissertation on the sympathy between bodily parts, defended by Johann Moritz Triller and printed at Jena by the Krebs press in 1686 for an academic readership. The sole image is a typographic headpiece above the preface: a dense band of interlaced foliate strapwork in black and white, edged with rows of small fleurons, usable as a rule, header band, or repeating pattern tile.
