A Latin inaugural medical dissertation on the panacea, defended by the Hungarian physician Mátyás Institoris at Halle in 1730 and printed there by Johann Christian Hendel for the university faculty. The plates are typographic: an acanthus-scroll headpiece with a central oval cartouche, a woodcut initial S with oak leaves and a rayed sun, and engraved title-page capitals.
