The Baptistry and the Romanesque churches of Florence; sixtyfourillustrations, and text
A 1914 photographic survey of the Florentine Baptistery and the city's Romanesque churches, written by Ugo Monneret de Villard and issued in Milan by E. Bonomi with sixty-four plates for architects and students of medieval Italian building. The halftones record bronze door panels in raking light, framed by borders of foliage, fruit and heads in roundels, giving usable relief compositions, architectural backdrops and ornament strips.
