The Barrie gasoline engines
A 1910 trade catalogue from the Canada Producer and Gas Engine Co. of Barrie, Ontario, printed locally by the Gazette Press to sell stationary gasoline engines to farmers, shops, and small mills. Coarse halftone side views show single-cylinder engines with spoked flywheels, cast bases, fuel tanks, and oilers, each dropped onto a soft shaded ground patch that reads as a ready-made vignette shape.
