An inventory of the architectural and art monuments of Westphalia, compiled by A. Ludorff for the province's Provincial-Verband and issued in Münster from 1897 for preservation officials, architects and local historians. Halftone plates show churches, gabled town houses and half-timbered farm buildings photographed straight on, together with cast bronze and carved stone details, inscribed grave slabs and foliage-covered ornamental frames, with German Fraktur captions and measurements alongside; useful for vernacular building silhouettes, blackletter lettering and dense floral border motifs.
