Bau- und Kunstdenkmäler von Westfalen. Im Auftrage des Provinzial-Verbandes der Provinz Westfalen
A volume of the Westphalian provincial inventory of building and art monuments, compiled by A. Ludorff for the Provinzial-Verband der Provinz Westfalen and issued at Münster from 1897 for architects, conservators and local historians. Halftone plates reproduce illuminated manuscript pages — Nativity and Adoration scenes inside arched frames, surrounded by scattered flowers, insects and strewn-border motifs — alongside photographs of churches and stonework, useful for border ornament and medieval figure groups.
