A volume of the official inventory of architectural and art monuments of Westphalia, compiled by A. Ludorff for the provincial association and issued in Münster from 1897 for conservators, architects and local historians. Halftone photographs and plate-mounted survey views record brick church towers with clock faces, wrought-iron grille gates, carved stone stair balustrades and cast relief friezes of scrolls and rosettes, giving designers isolated ornament details and plain masonry elevations with scale bars.
