A volume of the official inventory of architectural and art monuments in the Prussian province of Westphalia, compiled by A. Ludorff and collaborators for the provincial association and issued in Münster from 1897 for conservators, architects and local historians. Halftone photographs and measured drawings record church facades, rose windows, ribbed vaults, wrought-iron screens, carved epitaphs and Baroque altar reliefs, giving designers plate-ready architectural detail, tracery patterns and ironwork scrollwork.
