Beginn and Blüte der Wiener Seidenweberei
A German-language history of Viennese silk weaving by Moriz Dreger, published by Artaria in Vienna in 1915 for textile historians, museum curators and the silk trade. Halftone plates reproduce woven silk lengths in close view: mirrored acanthus and palmette damasks, stylized carnation and pomegranate sprays, scrolling borders and Greek-key edging, all usable as repeat patterns and border strips.
