Beginning woodwork at home and in school
A beginner's woodworking manual by Clinton S. Van Deusen, published by the Manual Arts Press in Peoria, Illinois, in 1907 for schoolboys and manual-training teachers. The illustrations are pen-and-ink line drawings in tall narrow frames, mostly pairs of hands gripping saws, planes, chisels and try squares against blocks and boards, each captioned with a hand-lettered figure number; useful for cropped hand-and-tool vignettes, instructional diagram layouts and isolated tool silhouettes.
