Bericht über die Welt-Ausstellung zu Paris im Jahre 1867
Official Austrian report on the 1867 Paris Universal Exposition, issued in Vienna by Wilhelm Braumüller for the Imperial-Royal Austrian Central Committee and addressed to officials, manufacturers and trade readers reviewing exhibited goods and industrial methods. The plates are small wood-engraved line diagrams of exhibited apparatus — flexible catheters and curved surgical needles, a hatched cutaway of a screw-threaded fitting, a lever pump plumbed to a handpiece — drawn in outline with cross-hatched shading and set free on the page, useful as isolated instrument silhouettes and sectional mechanical detail.
