Beschryving van's Graven-hage
A Dutch topographical and civic history of The Hague compiled by Jacob de Riemer and printed at Delft by Reinier Boitet in 1730, addressed to local antiquarians and municipal readers. The plates gathered here are letterpress ornament rather than views: foliate tailpiece blocks with scrolled brackets and acanthus fans, and heavy woodcut initial letters set in leaf-filled squares, usable as spot ornament, drop caps, or section dividers.
