Bibliotheca Maphaei Pinellii Veneti magno jam studio collecta
A six-volume sale catalogue of Maffeo Pinelli's Venetian library of incunabula, manuscripts and vellum-printed books, compiled by Jacopo Morelli and printed by Carlo Palese in Venice in 1787 for collectors and booksellers. The pictures are small letterpress ornaments and typographic fragments: rococo cartouche vignettes with scrolling C-curves and pendant bead swags, plus close views of old-style numerals, italic abbreviations and ruled entry lines usable as spot ornaments, dividers and type reference.
