The Binns : charter granted on ninth November, 1944 to the National Trust for Scotland by Eleanor Dalyell of The Binns
A short commemorative record issued by the National Trust for Scotland in Edinburgh around the 1944 charter by which Eleanor Dalyell gave over The Binns, a 17th-century house in Linlithgowshire, to the Trust, addressed to members and antiquarian readers. Halftone photographs show the harled, battlemented exterior from the lawns and close views of moulded plaster ceilings, a cherub frieze, and a royal arms panel with unicorn supporters above a carved chimneypiece.
