Lose Blätter aus Abazia, a German-language account of the Adriatic resort Abbazia (Opatija) written and illustrated under Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria and published in 1886 for a cultivated Central European readership. Alongside topographical views, the plates carry fine-line ornamental tailpieces: symmetrical acanthus scrolls, ribbon-tied swags and leafy grotesque masks, usable as rules, dividers and chapter-end marks.
