A subscription view album of the Austrian monarchy issued in Vienna in 1840, with town and landscape drawings by Rudolf von Alt printed as tinted lithographs by Alois Leykum for a public buying regional scenery. The 42 plates give wide low-horizon panoramas of towns like St. Pölten, framed in ruled borders, with hazy blue hills, green field strips, poplar rows and small foreground figures on roads.
