The White Wife; with other stories, supernatural, romantic and legendary; collected and illustrated by Cuthbert Bede
A collection of supernatural, romantic and legendary tales gathered and illustrated by Edward Bradley under the pen name Cuthbert Bede, published in London by Sampson Low in 1865 for Victorian general readers. The plates here are small single-colour wood-engraved plant sprigs — harebells, cornflower, buttercup — drawn in clean outline with light hatching, usable as chapter ornaments, spot motifs or repeat elements.
