Golden Leaves from the Works of the Poets and Painters. Edited by R. Bell
A Victorian poetry gift anthology edited by Robert Bell, drawing verse and pictures from British poets and Royal Academy painters, published by C. Griffin & Co. in London in 1872 for parlour readers. The 78 steel engravings after Stothard, Danby, Uwins and others give wooded river views, garden groups in high-waisted dresses, and coastal figure scenes rendered in fine stipple and tonal grey.
