Lays of the Belvoir Hunt
A collection of sporting verse about the Belvoir Hunt, issued in 1874 by Lawrence Ridge for English fox-hunting readers. The plates here are small line-engraved page ornaments rather than hunting scenes: a symmetrical acanthus tailpiece topped by two doves on a pedestal, and a triangular cluster of drooping bellflowers and pointed leaves, both usable as printer's flowers, corner fillers or divider rules.
