Letters from Portugal, Spain, Sicily, and Malta, in 1812, 1813, and 1814
Travel letters written by George Augustus Frederick Henry Bridgeman, Earl of Bradford, during his Peninsular War travels of 1812-14 and printed for private circulation by the Chiswick Press in London in 1875. The plates are wood-engraved horizontal headbands and tailpieces, each a rectangle framed in double rules and filled with vine, ivy and thistle scrollwork on a stippled ground, usable as rules, chapter openers and strip ornament.
