The Poetical Works of Lord Byron, etc
A late Victorian collected edition of Byron's poetry, issued by Virtue & Co. in London in 1878 for general readers of illustrated poetry volumes. The 54 steel-engraved plates, drawn by J. P. Davis, E. T. Parris and others and cut by named engravers, show costumed figures in landscapes, balconies and moonlit scenes, each set in wide white margins under two or three lines of quoted verse.
