Aladdin; or, the Wonderful scamp! An original burlesque extravaganza, in one act. [In verse
A one-act burlesque extravaganza in verse, Henry J. Byron's Aladdin, printed in 1882 by the Civil & Military Gazette Press for British garrison amateur theatricals in India, with sketches by Edmund Hobday and John Leslie. Pen line drawings record staged scenes: costumed figures before painted shopfronts with mock Chinese signage, proscenium arches, handwritten captions and quoted lines beside the figures.
