Society's Queen. A novel
A three-volume-era society novel by Ina Leon Cassilis, issued in London by F. V. White & Co. in 1883 for circulating-library readers. The illustrations are small chapter-head and tailpiece wood engravings: single flower sprigs — buttercup, rose with hips, snowdrop with roots — drawn in fine outline with hatched shading, plus a grotesque winged dragon head on foliage, all usable as spot ornaments, dividers or borders.
