The Sunny South. An autumn in Spain and Majorca
A British travel narrative of a journey through Spain and Majorca, written by John William Clayton and published in London by Hurst & Blackett in 1869 for general armchair readers. The plates here are decorative chapter headpieces and tailpieces printed in grey line: symmetrical acanthus scrollwork around a central cartouche, and a horizontal panel of vine, birds and hanging fruit, useful as rules, dividers and frame elements.
