Lady Betty ... With original illustrations
Christabel Rose Coleridge's novel Lady Betty, issued with original illustrations by F. Warne & Co. in London in 1870 for a general reading public. The line-engraved ornaments shown here are small floral devices: a blossom and buds in a scalloped cartouche with hatched ground, and a flowering plant mirrored in ruled water, usable as spot ornaments, chapter marks and frame motifs.
