Poets in the Garden. [With plates
An anthology of garden verse compiled by Maria Henrietta de la Cherois Crommelin, published in London by T. Fisher Unwin in 1886 for Victorian readers of flower poetry. The plates are fine pen-and-ink headpieces and tailpieces: symmetrical swags of roses, leaves and buds, grasses and reeds, a nest under rays of light, all line work on pale paper suited to borders and section dividers.
