Object Lessons in Geography for Standards I. II. & III
A teacher's manual of graded geography lessons for English elementary standards, written by Thomas Francis George Dexter and Alfred Hezekiah Garlick and published by Longmans, Green in London in 1899. The figures build up a coastline in stages — blank outline, then shaded relief, then the same map named and routed — giving designers clean island and estuary silhouettes, hachured hill shading, ruled borders and small symbols for woods, roads and towns.
