Poems; chiefly in the Scottish dialect, etc
A collection of verse in Scots by Thomas Donaldson, a Glasgow weaver, printed in 1809 for local subscribers and readers of dialect poetry. Small wood-engraved vignettes in the Bewick manner show ploughing teams, a rider on a hill track, boys among trees and a man seated by a stream, with soft foliage masses and open oval borders useful as chapter ornaments or spot illustrations.
