The Vicar of Redcross; or, Till Death us do Part
A Victorian three-volume-style domestic novel by Sarah Doudney, published in London in 1888 for a general readership of family and religious fiction. Ten captioned wood-engraved plates show interiors, railway carriages, and crowds around an accident victim, useful for 1880s costume, bonnets and top hats, grouped figures, and quoted caption lines set beneath a framed image.
