A juvenile historical novel by Anna Harriet Drury, set during the 1813 campaigns in Germany and issued in London by Griffith, Farran & Co. in 1891 for young readers. The 35 pen-and-ink vignettes sit inside the text block with type wrapping around them, showing figures in tailcoats, top hats and hussar uniforms, crowd scenes at inn doors and close scuffles rendered in loose cross-hatching with no frames or backgrounds.
