Historia de las Indias de Nueva-España y islas de Tierra Firme ... La publica con un atlas, notas, y ilustraciones J. F. Ramirez, etc
A 16th-century Dominican chronicle of Aztec history and religion by Diego Durán, first printed in Mexico City in 1867 with notes and a plate atlas edited by José Fernando Ramírez for scholars of pre-conquest Mexico. The plates are hand-coloured lithographic copies of the manuscript's codex paintings, two to four numbered scenes per sheet: temple platforms, feathered warriors, round shields, deity figures and sacrifice rites in flat outline with clear washes of red, green and yellow, useful as isolable figure motifs and pattern borders.
