The History of the Ancient Parish of Sandbach, Co. Chester, including the two Chapelries of Holmes Chapel and Goostrey, etc
A privately printed county history of the Cheshire parish of Sandbach, compiled by antiquary J. P. Earwaker in 1890 for local subscribers and genealogists. The plates are line-drawn coats of arms with blackletter captions: shields bearing crosses, chevrons, cartwheels, bendlets and ermine spots, some with helms and beast crests, useful as clean heraldic silhouettes, pattern fills and monogram-style labels.
