Hanes Prydain Fawr: o'r cyfnod boreuaf hyd yr amser presenol, etc. [With plates
A Welsh-language history of Great Britain from earliest times to the present, written by Owen R. Ellis and issued in 1875 by the London Printing & Publishing Company for general Welsh readers. The 58 colour plates stage set pieces of British history—King John signing Magna Carta, a king crowned on the battlefield, mounted retinues riding through timbered streets—in flat bright inks with arched tops and bilingual English-Welsh captions, useful for period costume, heraldic banners and crowd groupings.
