The Fox and the Goose. A tale of the Curragh of Kildare. By the author of “Spavin Hall.”
A short Irish tale set on the Curragh of Kildare, published in London in 1887 by the anonymous author of "Spavin Hall" for general readers. The pictures are small wood-engraved chapter ornaments: a hatched garden rose, a symmetrical spray of wild geranium, and harvest bundles of sickle, rake, scythe and wheat sheaf, usable as headpieces, tailpieces or spot motifs.
