A self-published book of devotional and local verse with the author's autobiography, written and issued by Peter Gabbitass at Clifton, Bristol, in 1885 for subscribers and neighbours. Wood-engraved vignettes show churches, a round tower, a castellated tower among trees, and the Clifton Suspension Bridge above the Avon, plus an oval bust portrait of the poet and his daughter; useful for small vignette frames, stipple skies and foliage textures.
