Instruction für die Topographen der topografischen Abtheilung der Königlich Preussischen Landes-Afnahme
An 1876 field manual issued by the topographic section of the Royal Prussian Land Survey, instructing its own surveyors in the use of plane-table equipment and triangulation method. Numbered engraved plates show alidades, Baumann tripods and their sectioned heads, levelling scales and profile grids, alongside pages of fine-line triangulation networks and circle diagrams useful as technical ornament, diagram borrowings, or instrument silhouettes.
