Geographisch-historisches Handbuch von Bayern
A geographical and historical handbook of Bavaria compiled by Wilhelm Götz of Munich and published in 1895 for German readers, teachers and travellers wanting town-by-town description. The 179 pictures are small wood-engraved town views, mostly distant panoramas seen across fields and foliage with church towers, castles and roof clusters on ridges, some with circular inset vignettes of a single chapel or gate; useful for skyline silhouettes, foreground tree and scrub framing, and inset-medallion layouts.
