Harry Dale's Jockey “Wild Rose.” Her Life and Adventures
A Nat Gould horse-racing novel issued by George Routledge & Sons in 1893 for the British popular fiction market. The illustrations are small wood-engraved tailpieces and chapter ornaments printed with text showing through: oak sprays with acorns, a symmetrical pair of birds over scrollwork, an olive branch, and leafy stems, all usable as spot decorations, dividers, or page furniture.
