A two-volume regional literary anthology compiled by William Grainge in 1868 for W. T. Lamb, gathering biographies and verse extracts from Yorkshire-born poets for Victorian county readers. The plates are small engraved headpieces and tailpieces in fine black line — symmetrical scrollwork, berried sprigs, cartouche pairs and hanging tassel pendants — usable as chapter dividers, borders and small vector ornaments.
