Views & Reminiscences of Old Greenock. [With letterpress by A. Williamson
Views & Reminiscences of Old Greenock is a local topographical record of the Scottish port town, issued in 1891 by J. McKelvie & Sons with letterpress by A. Williamson for townspeople and antiquarians documenting streets before demolition. The 35 sepia-toned lithographs show tenement closes, cobbled corners, gabled shopfronts with lettered signs and vaults, and small groups of standing figures, useful for period signage, street furniture and receding urban perspectives.
