Géographie générale; physique, politique et économique. ... Avec ... cartes ... gravures, etc
A one-volume general geography of the world — physical, political and economic — compiled by Louis Grégoire and published in France in 1876 for school and general reference use, with maps and wood engravings set into the text. The 639 pictures are mostly small wood-engraved town and city views seen from a rise or across water, with foreground figures, foliage and rock, plus landscape, monument and costume plates; useful for compact skylines, hatched skies and ready-made vignette framing.
