A three-volume Victorian novel by Mrs J. Harcourt, issued in London by Remington & Co. in 1884 for the circulating-library reader. The single illustration is a small wood-engraved vignette: a fluted footed bowl with scrolled handles heaped with grapes, a pear and vine leaves, drawn in open line on blank paper, usable as a tailpiece, label motif or menu ornament.
