Two English Girls. [A novel
A three-volume-era domestic novel by Mabel Hart, issued in London by Hurst & Blackett in 1890 for the circulating-library readership. The nine plates are all the same engraved chapter headpiece, a wide arched band of grapevine, ivy and bunched grapes flanking a small cartouche holding a woman's head in profile, printed above the page number in fine stipple and line; useful as a ready-made header rule, a repeating vine border, or a detachable medallion portrait.
