A bilingual German-English guide to the Black Forest spa town of Wildbad, written by Stuttgart professor Julius Hartmann, illustrated by H. Drück and others and published by Adolf Bonz & Co. in 1888 for visiting bathers and tourists. The wood-engraved plates show valley panoramas framed by spruce and fir, hotel streets with carriages and strollers, a market place as it looked in 1815, and a royal forest lodge, all with captions set in two languages on ruled borders.
