Memorials of Holdenby
An antiquarian account of Holdenby House in Northamptonshire, compiled by Emily Sophia Hartshorne and published in England in 1868 for readers of county history and old estates. The plates here are printed in pale blue-grey: symmetrical scrollwork headpieces and tailpieces with acanthus, strapwork panels, flowering vases, facing birds and a grotesque mask, usable as rules, dividers and frame ends.
